Brokenness – is there beauty in that? From that? It definitely brings change.

The person I was last year… doesn’t look back at me in the mirror today.

Change.

I was comparing pictures of myself this morning… A year ago, today, I’d had my nose pierced. It was the first of many changes this last year.

The contrast of a year, so many differences, especially looking into my eyes.

Change.

Change comes from brokenness. Is that beauty? I don’t know.

Two people connected at their very souls. Fated.

And, the rain falls upon them like angel’s tears, sanctifying their love; cleansing them of their past.

It’s just them. The world is far, so far, away, as their lips meet.

There, in that moment, all the elements collide, all the senses rise as an ocean’s tide.

One breath, one heartbeat. One. Kiss.
